Character Building – Adventure Corps, Girl Guards, Moonbeams and Sunbeams

The Salvation Army Adventure Corps program is a holistic Christian education experience for boys in grades 1-8. The Salvation Army Sunbeam and Girl Guard programs are holistic Christian Education experiences for girls in grades 1-12. The Salvation Army Moonbeam program is a holistic Christian Education experience for girls and boys in kindergarten.

The goals of the Character Building programs are to develop positive social and communication habits, decision making and life skills, character and leadership. This is done through a Biblical worldview by encouraging a sense of personal identity and character, Christian values and Biblical principles and physical, mental, spiritual, and social development in a safe environment for learning, developing, and caring that is age appropriate and Christ centered.

ADVENTURE CORPS | TUESDAYS @ 6:00 PM

This group meets weekly for boys in 1st - 8th grade. They come together for silly & fun projects which include Lego Wars, sports, creative arts and friendship building.

GIRL GUARDS | WEDNESDAYS @ 6:30 PM

This group meets weekly for young ladies in 6th - 12th grade. The young ladies enjoy activities that help build up self-esteem, encourage friendships and develop life skills. 

MOONBEAMS | TUESDAYS @ 6:00 PM

This group meets weekly for boys and girls in kindergarten who come together for extraordinary activities that help them learn about manners, nature and the world around them. They also enjoy making fun crafts!

SUNBEAMS | TUESDAYS @ 6:00 PM

This group meets weekly for girls in 1st - 5th grade and have a blast by engaging in projects that build character. The girls enjoy cooking, singing, camping and more.
